hell was founded in Delhi

Jumping on the train to Delhi. We arrived at the station on time this time. But the train was not parked as per usual 30 min or so before, that had me scratching my head a bit. But not to worried it arrived on time and finding where we were to sit was difficult. The ticket we got was for sitting anyone who has been on a long distance train in India knows what that means. It's as close to the unreserved seating u get. Where 10 people all try get the same seat biting, scratching, kicking what ever goes. Ours did not have the biting, scratching or kicking.. But there were 20 people sitting in a space that's supposed to have 7, that's with out the people standing and all their bags! Luckily it was only 6hrs and having spent a few days in heat that's just not human we came out smiling a little.

We ended up at Delhi station not New Delhi about 4km apart. So we tried to spot some accommodation around this station but it was not to be. So after 5min of walking I tried to get a tuk tuk. But they were just not on the road we had wondered to. So I got the next best thing a rickshaw. Claudia was horrified, this poor man way skinnier than I am peddling this bike with us on it. The people sleeping on carts, the street, wearing clothes u would not wash ur floor with. Cows every where eating rubbish, hooters that make one deff. All under the stench of sewage and neon lights. The change from beautiful almost suburbia of Jaipur to the slums of Delhi. It's quite horrific. The fun did not end there by the time we found something to sleep in for a night it was close to midnight and everything was almost shut. The only place we spotted open at first did not want to server us food, half way out the door they offered us the last of what they had. I don't know how Claudia swallowed some of it as my mouth was on fire.

Welcome to Delhi hell on earth. And it's just the start.
