Not the easiest thing in the world to get those few pics up. Internet was so slow, each time i up loaded a image it would stall.. And would have to start again. Not sure when I wonet be moving around much again to upload some more. But will try get on it as soon as I can, sorry bloody thing.

Anyhow just got on the Rajdhani Express to Delhi.. It's a little better than I expected, and looks like we will have some free food. Yeah now on to the cheeper side of the world :)

Yesterday was a little late for the meet up, thought I had abandonment issues! Started the day with a fosters at Leopolts and headed for Elephant Island again. More street wise than when I landed here, knew to avoid the offerings of help around the attractions. So purchased return boat ride ticket at the right place. Rs120.00 that's for a 2hr boat ride there and back, cheep as chips. On the island walked the 120 steps up the hill in the heat past all the vendors. Some stuff you would like to take back for others but lugging all that crap around for months is just not going to happen.

The entrance for the temps 2 places on the route up to pay for entry (weird) costs Rs220.00, that's like way cheaper than the friendly sharks about the gateway. Their line is you only pay when you come back, sir. I pay for all entry, because you are white skinned you will pay $5. No worries with me sir I take care of you. Bla bla bla, call me stupid and slap me senseless..

What a rude awakening to the monsoon. Woke up at 8:15 an HOUR before alarm was supposed to go off. To a cheerful Indian (what a baby face he has) handing me breakfast. I did not even phone for it this morning, and it came with double of everything from yesterday. Shure I got someone elses order, but cheerede up after seeing the time.

The day started with my idea to go visit elephant island. So off I went, but the sea was way to choppy and the boats were anchored.. Mulling around tossing coins what to see, I got talked into a tour to see the Jewl temple and Dhobi ghat. So off I went saying all I wanted to see were those two. No air con as that's more, with my guide John sure that's just his English name.

Wow.. Internet hassles b4 even in India. Where there is a will there is a way.

Heading to the plane :-O, a short good by to the famdamily. Sorry wanted it short guys. Man u blink and time has left u behind. Well time to grow some balls and face the world again. Still missing another more than I know and shit not been so grand lately... So I've headed for the hills. Gona miss everyone so.

So by now you all are still thinking what I thought this kid had all ready left. Yip its been on my tung for far to long, but finally 1 July 2009 I board my plane headed for Mumbai India. Flight EK 766 to Dubai at 22:20 with a one hour stop over and then off to Mumbai landing at 14:00. The last few days have been way hectic and word sallied is all thats floating in my head. So I've not booked any accommodation, here goes winging it from the start.. Hee haa.

The last time I bought foreign currency, it was a walk into the bank and out. Two years on and how things have changed. It's two days later and iv managed to get 700 dollars at FNB. But need to go back again later today to get the remainder from Standard Bank. They gotta order the stuff in now days, and they got my order wrong.

A few guidebooks ooo-lala. Just the tip of the iceburg, it's sure going to feel like it lugging one around. But for now I'm not that brave to go the 1 book over view route for now.

D day is around the corner and I'm still getting crap sorted out :-O. Heading back to the bank tom to collect my thousand odd dollars and a few rupies. Also need to still book accomidation for the first few days in Mumbai. Feel like I'm more a zombie than a person who just quit their job.. All most a month later and really tuckered out.

Let's hope I get a weekend away before all this madness starts.

That way the lazy me does not have to send out 5 million emails, I can just simply send you the link the to the website.

Hopefully the internet cafe's are decent in South East Asia and I can get some content up quite frequently. Yes, I will be leaving the mac at home :-O. Also I have got my iphone setup to blog straight into here, thanks to iBlogger.

Also I've just taken some older trip pics and plucked them up for now in the street. So nothing looks to sparse for the start... and there is also a pinging beacon I will use when I can to upload my location.
